DIS+ App was not born to solve a technical problem. It was born to answer a moral question: how do we give back a place to those whom the tools of the modern world have left on the side of the road?
This question accompanied me for years before becoming a project. I carried it as an engineer in the oil industry, when I observed that African skills remained invisible in the systems that employed them. I carried it as an exile, when I understood how difficult it is to become visible when you have lost everything. I carried it as an entrepreneur, seeking for others what I would have wanted for myself.
DIS+ App is my answer.
It is in France, where I found refuge, that I developed this platform. But it was not designed for France: it was designed for Africa first — because that is where the need is most urgent — and open to the world, because the invisible are not an African exclusivity.
At the beginning, the idea was modest: a simple tool to replace the paper business card. A digital card that anyone could create in a few minutes to exist online, without depending on a website, a developer, or a budget.
But as the platform grew, our thinking grew with it. What was once just a card generator became something else: an inclusive referencing engine, where each card is no longer just an isolated presence, but a gateway to a network, a service, a client, a community.
Today, DIS+ App is no longer a digital card. It is the founding application of an entire inclusive digitalization ecosystem — highly technological, highly functional, and always faithful to its initial intention: simplicity in the service of those who need it most.
This evolution has not diluted the vision. It has honored it.
Because making someone visible is only a beginning. The project is to give them the means to stand tall — through the tool, through the network, through the human support that remains, for us, the heart of everything.
I sign this project personally. A petrochemical engineer turned digital solutions developer, I created in 2010 in Madrid my first structure dedicated to digital: TIB — Today's Internet Business. TIB was the first school. DIS+ App is its culmination — for now.
I say "for now" because this project is not a finished product. It is a path. And it is an invitation to walk it with us.
